On behalf of the faculty, administration and entire Coconut Creek High Community, welcome to an exciting year of academic achievement and personal growth.
You are all participating in an innovative school reform model called "Small Learning Communities" in which students' achievement is enhanced in a unique way. The research shows that when students' personal learning needs are met in human and systemic ways by caring adults whose expertise is supported by new structures and systems, students can reach their maximum potential.
Every student has been assigned to a "school" designed to create a more personalized approach to the learning process.

There are two 9th Grade schools... B.A.S.E. and Foundations and three 10 -12 schools... Outward Bound, Global Academy and Vision Quest. In each of these schools, students' learning will be enhanced by exposure to the 3R's.. Rigor, Relevance and Relationships.
Your success will be determined by your commitment to your education. Inorder to be successful in any venture you undertake, you need to have a VISION for your future.
Remember, it's not where you are but where you are going. Please attend school every day, be on time and work to the best of your ability.
